Dermot’s Taste of Ireland

ITV viewers have recently been treated to a journey through Ireland’s culinary treasures in “Dermot’s Taste of Ireland,” a five-part series that aired in September 2024 and is now available on ITVX. Hosted by TV and radio presenter Dermot O’Leary and supported by Tourism Ireland, the series captivated millions across Britain with its stunning visuals and mouth-watering discoveries. Each episode saw Dermot travelling to a different part of Ireland, meeting the local farmers, fishermen, artisan producers, and chefs who bring the nation’s food and drink culture to life. From the serene shores of County Cork, where he explored the art of oyster farming, to the vibrant city of Belfast with its new whiskey distillery, the series highlighted the rich traditions and innovative flavours that define Irish cuisine.

At Pushed, we understand the importance of a captivating title sequence in setting the tone for a series, and we’ve had the privilege of creating dynamic opening animations for multiple shows. These sequences do more than introduce the show; they draw viewers into the story from the very first frame, enhancing the entire viewing experience. We were commissioned by Rock Oyster Media to produce the programme graphics, maps and logo, which served to bring the heart and soul of Ireland’s food culture to the screen, ensuring the series made a lasting impact on its audience.
