Refuge4Pets

This 2D animation was created for Refuge4Pets to highlight their vital pet fostering service for victims of domestic violence and abuse. Produced using After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere, the animation tells the real-life story of how Refuge4Pets helps individuals and families find safety without having to leave their beloved pets behind. Often, people are unable to escape abusive situations because most refuges and emergency accommodations cannot accept animals—Refuge4Pets removes this barrier by providing a safe foster home for pets across Devon and Cornwall.

The animation is designed with Refuge4Pets’ distinctive colour scheme and visual style to maintain brand consistency with their previous campaigns. At Pushed, we understand the importance of using animation for charities, especially in sensitive contexts like this. Animation allows for storytelling that protects the anonymity of those involved while still delivering a powerful and compassionate message. This approach ensures that the focus remains on raising awareness and inspiring support for the life-changing work Refuge4Pets does in helping both people and their pets find a path to safety and healing.
