Gingerbread Man

For Christmas 2024, we were thrilled to create a 3D immersive animation for the Market Hall Dome in Plymouth. Commissioned by Real Ideas, the animation took visitors on a magical journey with the Gingerbread Man as he wandered through a snowy forest, finding the perfect Christmas tree and bringing it to life with sugary magic.

The animation was more than a celebration of Christmas – it was designed to help young children adjust to the changing seasons in a non-intimidating way. Local primary school children played a key role in shaping the story, ensuring it reflected their perspectives and creativity. Shown in the largest immersive dome in Europe, the animation featured breathtaking 360-degree visuals and a state-of-the-art 19.1 speaker system, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Market Hall is more than an immersive venue: Its beautifully restored building, originally constructed in 1852, offers co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and a café, blending Plymouth’s history with its future. Once a bustling marketplace, it has been transformed into a centre for creativity, innovation, and community engagement. We were proud to be part of this special project, bringing a little festive magic to the heart of Devonport.
